Chapter 10
In a wild chapter, Salva is first struggling with the fact of surviving with enough water, then it comes down to Uncle stating that he will leave him at the refugee camp and fight back in Sudan. Then the worst that could be imagined at this point occurs. How will Salva react to this situation at the end of the chapter? How will he manage to move on from this point considering these events?

The feeling of this neutral because his uncle is leaving but when his uncle leaves he gets kidnapped and he gets shot and so does salva. The worst that can happen is her uncle dying. She reacts like her life just flashed before her eyes. He will move on as it was just a part of life.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you because Uncle may have died anyways because he was going to fight in the war after he made it to Ethiopia anyways but he best may hope for the best

DeleteSalva will react very badly to this situation because the men came and tied Salva's uncle to a tree and shout there gun very loud. I think that his uncle died. I think it will be very hard for him to move on from this point considering these events because their is no one from his family and no one that he knows.

I agree because when somebody in your life dies it is just a part of life.
DeleteWith these events occurring it will defiantly be harder. Uncle said he will leave to go to the war. So he may die anyways because he is going to fight in the war. After Salva found out the fact that his family may have not survived I think that defiantly hit him hard. Going from bad event to bad event you just think you are having A good break with luck them something terrible happens, you can never really get a good break in Sudan. I think he just has to forget the past you have to just forget what has happend let it all out in Ethiopia when you have a friend.

DeleteI think that he will be devastated and torn apart inside. He might even not make it do to the lack of water and that he is now more scared because of the muggers coming and taking all of there stuff. I think he will manage to drag along to the camp and make some new friends. I also Think that he will move on and worry about going to the camp and getting a family.

ReplyDeleteI think that Salva will just give up on having a happy life. I think that, assuming that he does survive in the desert with very little water, when he gets to the camp, he will have a lot of time to think about how he will never see his family because they are probably dead and how he will never see his uncle again because he is dead. I also think that when he gets to the camp, he will find some new friends and not have a totally horrible life.

DeleteI think that salva is going to give up because his father died and barley any water and he feels so sad and hot. After his father died salva might minis well give up
ReplyDeleteI think Salva with be very sad and lonely, I don't think he can survive without his uncle or without water because his uncle is hunting food and he helps people and tells then what to do. But, maybe his uncle taught him a lot so he can hunt and help people and do all the things that his uncle did. I think it will be very very hard on Salva.

Salva walk is almost coming to a end since there about to reach their destination without any water left. Salva is struggling to get through since his uncle just got tied up and his family is still gone and now that he got the news that his uncle was gonna leave him for the war. Salva will probably keep on fighting through this situation after one men just shot three bullets at his uncle. I think that Salva will manage to move on by knowing he is almost done with the desert and that he has a slight chance of meeting his parents again. The worst thing that could happen is that his uncle might die and that he will die and maybe end up with no family and friends.
ReplyDeleteI think that Salva will be sad and kinda scared because his uncle just died in front of him. And for the plans for leaving him at the refuge camp is now over and he is alone i think with the other men. But now he has just a little bit of water and in the desert. I think him moving of from this point will be a struggle for him because he might not know where he is going. I also think that he will be scared from that point on because his uncle could be died. But Salvas uncle could still be alive, cause some people survive gun shots but sometime people don't so maybe he might live and he won't. And how I feel about this is sad. Maybe something happens to Salva he might get taken or maybe he finds his way to the refuge camp with the other men. Or maybe Salva will try and help his uncle with water of bandage him with some of his clothes. And Maybe he might now even survive.
ReplyDeleteI think Salva's emotions will be high in sorrow knowing that Salva's uncle could be dead knowing he got tied to a tree and got shot three times. I think it might take a while for Salva to adjust considering the horrible events that have occurred. Maybe if Salva thinks about the positives of going into Ethiopia and escaping the war.
ReplyDeleteUncle was pretty much all Salva had at that point. I don't think that he will be able to go on after this terrible blow. Also, Uncle was the heart and soul of the group, without him I think that the whole group will break down. Now Salva will probably have a lot of trouble with the water situation and Uncle dying
ReplyDeleteI think that Salva will fall on the ground and cry. This is because his uncle died. Salva will manage is by thinking his parents are all ready there. That should give him some hope.
ReplyDeleteHe will react in a bad way because he is struggling to get water. Salva is both happy and sad cause his uncle in leaving because his uncle is fighting for the country. Also his uncle got kidnapped and shot. He will move on because he will remember that his uncle got shot so he will feel more strong about himself.
ReplyDeleteThe struggle of finding water on his hard course of the desert is extremely hard course it barley rains. Salva'S happy and sad that his leaving because hes happy cause hes fighting for his country and find his to find his mom and dad.The worst thing that could happen to his uncle that will make Salva sad is if his uncle dies. the end of the chapter for Salva is sad because his uncle might of died. he will try to move on from this point is by remembering him on try to forget how he did.
