Chapter 2
Imagine yourself in Salva's "shoes," how would you feel if you had just run away from the awful situation of gun fire at school and ended up in a random location with unfamiliar faces? What thoughts or emotions would be going through your head if a gun was pointed in your face and you were given direct orders from a soldier?

For Salva the rebels are very demanding and they dont accept women children or the elderly they also the rebels dont care what the people think about them and i personaly think that the rebels are trying to expand their army

DeleteIf I were to be in salvas shoes I would feel really scared of this situation because I never had this situation before and it would be really scary to be in that situation.
ReplyDeleteI would feel scared,confused,and sad.If a gun was pointed to my face I would feel confused and mostly terrified. I would not know what would happen to me.

DeleteNya: I think nya family is very poor, and she doesn't ware shoes and she has to be strong because she have to get water and it takes her half of the day.
ReplyDeleteSlava: The government was not doing the right thing (forcing the rebels and the people to believe in Islam. And the rebels weren't doing the right thing too they were forcing men to be in their group. Also, When the rebels wanted to choose from the the people they wanted all of the woman,kids,elders to go from the other side to not see where the men are going.In fact, When salva wanted to go on the men side they pulled him to the woman side because he was a kid they didn't want him to see where the men was going (Putting a gun in his face.

DeleteIf a gun was pointed in my face I would probly pass out or cry because the thought of that is very frighting.
ReplyDeleteI would be scared because if a gun was pointed to my face i would fell scared because no one should have a gun in their face. Especially from someone who wants to take all the men to war. And i think its wrong to take away or split up family members. What about the elderly they really can't protect themselves. And the women they have not been to school all they know how to do is, Clean. And Salva was the only kid there.
ReplyDeleteI really like your point about the elderly. They truly cannot protect themselves and now they are put into a dangerous situation.
DeleteIf I was stuck in a place with people I don't know I would be terrified. I would be scared because The rebels would be after me and I am with strangers who I don't whether to trust or not. If a gun was pointed at my head I would be thinking "I'm going to die! What did I do to deserve this!"

DeleteI would feel very bad if I had just run away from the awful situation of gun fire at school and ended up in a random location with unfamiliar faces because I don't know what my family is doing are the died or not and will I see them again. The thoughts or emotions that would be going in my head is I would think that I am dining and I would never see my family again because the gun is right in my chin.
ReplyDeleteI would feel very scared it would be really weird to be somewhere that you never been before. The emotions would be scared and really nervous because what if he shot it at me with his gun and then I will die.

DeleteIf i were salva i would be terrified because a gun being pointed at my face and i would Dart the other Direction because i would be worried that he would shoot me. Plus i ran away from the rebels only to meet more rebels i would want to just dart back into the village because i want to see if anyone is ok i would be thinking that im going to die when he pointed the gun at me and i thought what whould it be like up in heaven
ReplyDeleteI would feel very scared if I heard gun fire at school 30 minutes away from my family and running for hours. I might have even fainted.I would be absolutely terrified if a gun was pointed at my face and it touching me,I might have even started crying.

DeleteIf that was me in salva situation I would feel very scared if I had a gun pointed to my face because I would think that he would shoot me or do something bad and I would not think that he would be using the gun to direct me where to go. I would feel terrified if I had just run away from home because I wouldn't know were I am going especially when my parents are not there with me and there are not familiar faces around.
ReplyDeleteI too would be terrified to run away from home. However, I would be more than willing to run to save myself. Sometimes you have to take care of yourself before you can worry about others.

DeleteI would have probably ran and ran.I would have felt scared and would be crying. At that point anyone running i would trust to be safe and to have companionship.I would be sad and scared and be thinking if I would ever see my family again.

Deletei would care for one another and your right anyone who is running is most likely to be a friend and not a rebel
Deletei would wait because he may not see you as a threat to them and if you run then there is a better chance that he may punish you or shoot you

ReplyDeleteI would feel frightened and confused because if I'm ever in a large area with my parents and I suddenly lose them, I'd be terrified. Sometimes I can get shy when I see new faces, but seeing these new faces that will abuse or harass me is even worse. If a gun was pointed at my face, I'd be scared listen to the soldier to keep myself safe. But really, I wouldn't want to listen to the soldier because they don't even know me. So what right do they have to boss me around telling me what to do. Either way, I'd would wonder why he would be pointing that gun at me, what did I ever do to him?!

ReplyDeleteIf I imagined i was in Salvas shoe i be very scary if there was a shooting in school.then I ran to a random location i be freak out.With people i barley know and i might never see my mom and dad and 2 sister and 3 brother and my my other moms again.If i had a gun barrel ponied to my head I would feel like y legs feel like water, and given direction from the rebel ponied a gun to my face a toled me to go with the women baby and elder ill be scary
